Eat Right, Stay Fit
Let’s talk about food and nutrition today, as one of our lifestyle’s major components. It contributes to the ill health, particularly the chronic lifestyle disorders that trouble many families today.
Almost every household is battles this problem with at least one family member being a victim of one of the lifestyle disorder. Let us be aware of the facts that are under and out of control. This can encourage us to act carefully and be mindful of what we eat every day and the effect it has on our body. Let’s be aware of the deficiencies on today’s eating first.
The current disturbing facts about nutrition are that we are often overfed but undernourished. Secondly, our food includes more calories than nutrients. The leading causes for the widespread nutritional deficiencies are the following:
First, humans evolved from eating wild foods which contained tremendously higher levels of nutrients. Second, the soil we currently utilize to grow our crops in has become greatly depleted of nutrients. Hybridization techniques from industrial farming are yielding animals and vegetables to have decreased levels of nutrients. Third, processed foods have absolutely no nutrients, which is why they frequently must be fortified. Finally, exposure to environmental toxins, lack of sunlight, chronic stress, and poor diet, including increased alcohol, caffeine, and sugar consumption, can increase our nutritional needs, much of which we’re already not getting enough from our current nutrition.
If we follow and have a disciplines patterns like eating right, not exposed to environmental toxins, perfect sleeping patterns, balanced display of sunlight and not trace of any chronic stress, healthy lifestyle, we didn’t have to go for any vitamin supplements. But unfortunately, the aforementioned good stuffs are mere mirage now and to stay healthy and fight the illness, we have to balance our life with an effort or a prescribed plan and an expert.
Imbalance in the body is the only cause of long-term lifestyle disorders. These are progressive in nature. Hence, reversing any of these need a holistic approach. It’s not just a quick fix for a symptom that’s bothering.
